Mental Health Nursing is a specialized branch of nursing that focuses on the care and support of individuals experiencing mental, emotional, and psychological health conditions. This field prepares nursing students to understand human behavior, mental health disorders, therapeutic communication, and psychiatric care practices. Students are trained to provide compassionate and patient-centered care for individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and other mental health challenges. Mental Health Nursing also emphasizes counseling, rehabilitation, emotional support, and the promotion of mental well-being, enabling students to contribute effectively to mental healthcare services in hospitals and community settings.
